Currently running 17.10 and kernel 4.13.0-32-generic, but not seeing any
changes from the bug fix. Does anyone know when this fix will actually

This is an easily reproducible bug that appears to exist in OpenOffice
3.0 as it relates to samba.
I'm running OpenOffice.org 3.0.0 (OOO300m9, Build: 9358) on Ubuntu
Release 8.10, Kernel Linux 2.6.27-8-generic, GNOME 2.24.1, samba version

(2008-09-06) updates to SAMBA.

Looks like we now have three bugs that are related/dupes: two in Ubuntu
(launchpad), and one in Gnome (bugzilla).
If BrianDrab/Etienne are driving this from within Canonical, then it
might make sense to close two of these out (Ubuntu 216104 and Gnome
535514) as dupes of the Canonical bug.
One cav
Given that reports have confirmed that this bug can be repro'd on
distros other than Ubuntu, I've opened a new bug in Gnome/Nautilus
referring back to this bug.
