[Bug 500177] [NEW] Snippets plugin shipped with gedit can't be enabled in preferences

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gedit It's exactly like the bug written at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/86148. At this address it says with the new release of gedit everything should be okay. However this was back to feisty times and I'm now using Lucid alpha 64
