This is the syslog from the password change. It appears gnome-keyring-
daemon is using the old password to try to change the login keyring
password.

System|Administration|Users and Groups fails to change the password for
the gnome-keyring, which causes all kinds of request of administrator
passwords, which will fail if you don't know that it's supposed to the

I am not able to find an exact duplicate but I will keep my eye open for this
bug.
I got the solution to change the keyring password:
Applications > Accessories > Password and Encryption Keys
Once open go to Edit > Preferences
In the Password Keyring tab, select your keyring and click "Unlock
