What I mean is:
1. Log in in GDM with a user for the first time
2. Create 2 panels on top of screen
3. Log out so that GDM appears again
4. Now log in your Gnome session again
5. The error message will appear

There where no users logged in - only on VT when I did the ps.
Strange thing now is:
If I start Gnome now as my test user everything starts without any
problems. The 2 panels are now in the correct order on the top of

I experience the same error. The problem here is that gnome-panel fails to stop
when the user logs out.
Perhaps a line was missed that kills it, or something, but that fact is that it
