I am sorry to report that I can no longer test this bug. I no longer
need access to that GroupWise e-mail system. All is well in Evolution-
land now for me.
Thanks for all of your advice and help and background in the world of

This happens with me too, both on 32 and 64-bit machines. Even after
doing a force-shutdown and restarting it doesn't fix the
problem...sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, haven't quite figured
out how to get it consistently back to normal behavior

Thank you for the quick response and advice. I am having a little
difficulty generating the backtrace for evolution-data-server. I can
successfully attach to the process and duplicate the hang in evolution,
but when I press Ctl-C in the gdb (using instructions here:
