I am also unable to add printers in any way. gnome-cups-add runs through the
dialogs just fine, then exits without seeingly adding my printer(s). It prints
"IPP request failed with status 1280" to st
I've got the same problem.
After chosing a driver for my printer (hp or hplip), there isn't any printer in
the gnome-cups-manager (or cups web interface).
