Both of the examples in the original report are now playing fine here in
Lucid. Don't forget to adjust the volume slider in the embedded totem
player.

I think this is two separate bugs, and in comment #2 Pedro is talking
about the second bug, which is the one with the audio. I get that too
under Karmic.
The first bug (the one with the video, which is shown in the
Capture-9.png screenshot) is a regression from Karmic. In Karmic the
video plays
