Not really. I have a workaround with a backup script and I'm really
short on free time but I'll wrap my head around this when I have some

I was just looking at how it normally operates and realized it
automatically backed up the /home/b/.local/share/rhythmbox/rhythmdb.xml
to rhythmdb.xml.1. I still lost all the contents of my playlists but at
least I recovered my ratings. When I have some free time, I'll DL the
git and write up a pat
it got corrupted i don't think there's something we can do about that.
