Yet more incredible to say, the bug reappears again since yesterday, after last
upgrade.
Yesterday, APT-GET downloaded these packages:
libparted0debian1 (2.2-5ubuntu5, 2.2-5ubuntu5.1), empathy-common
closing the bug since it works fine now, thanks for the feedback.

Incredible to say... after 6 days the bug vanished today. This morning I boot
up my computer and the clock-applet runs well, with normal second up-date.
During the last 6 days I never tried to change it or modify anything. So
it seems that it repaired by itself.
I can't imagine what happened.

I experience a similar problem with my clock. I wonder if my issue is
