I have the same problem. I use Ubuntu 12.04.
So I had Ubuntu installed and had the Google Calendar and Contacts. Then I
wanted to try the beta Version of 12.10 which didn't work out. That's why I
reinstalled Ubuntu 12.04 and kept my home partition. After reinstall I have
google contacts, but no
[Expired for evolution (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for
60 days.]

Seems that the first time evolution is started, google calendar is
missing, after quit and reopen google calendar is not more missing.

I have just now been able to reproduce this bug by installing Ubuntu
10.10 from scratch from the ISO (the gold version this time, not the
beta). Once again the Google options (and a few more) were missing just
after the install. I have attached a screenshot showing the problem.

OK, this is bizarre. On my system the Google choices are there now
too...
In fact, a few choices have suddenly appeared which definitely weren't
there previously.
New Address Book previously had just:
On This Computer
On LDAP Servers
And now it has:
On This Computer
On LDAP Servers
WebDAV
