reporter. CPU usage does not influence the timing of display blanking in
gnome-power-manager (you can check that for yourself in src/gpm-idle.c).

of 2010-04/06.
I was able to start Rhythmbox, then copy a new song into my library
folder and then do a search for it in Rhythbox. It did take about 5

Importing from Samba share extremely slow
I just checked version 2.30.0 of evince which was installed by
debootstrap for lucid. The error still occurs in the same way it does
with 2.28.1 of karmic. Printing to a physical device as well as printing
to a PDF file both show the same erratic behaviour.
