I have the symbols installed, but I was unable to re-create this issue
even using an "Edit as New" of the original email and sending from
another account to the one where it was originally received.
Added the additional dbgsym packages but unable to get a new backtrace
until the next occurance.

I just solved this problem:
I went to ACCOUNT SETTINGS > my msn address > advanced
and i changed messenger.hotmail.com -> messenger.live.com
It was just a lucky guess but it worked!

The problem came back, after 2 hours of succesful using msn on empathy i
rebooted my laptop and suddenly i couldn't login anymore.
Even not when i change messenger.live.com back to messenger.hotmail.com
& vice versa
Strange...

I recently updated to maverick and rhythmbox seems fixed.

In lucid the bud still persists, even though it shows in a different
manner. As maverick is coming out in a few days, I will not comment in
detail on the lucid bug. I will update my system only after the official
release and report back then if the bug is still present in maverick

I'm seeing the same thing on Ubuntu 10.10 with Empathy 2.32.0 and
Telepathy-Butterfly 0.5.14-1. However, Pidgin 2.7.3-1ubuntu3 works fine.

Attaching a screenshot to demonstrate the problem.
This is in Ubuntu 10.10. I have not confirmed that it exists in earlier
versions of Ubuntu, but I do suspect that to be the case.
Brasero won't recognize a blank BD-R. I can, however, burn ISO
