correctly what I did in libisofs is that the truncating algorithm starts
by truncating extension, but keeps minimum of 3 chars, and then moves to
the name. This seems like a mkisofs-related problem, but n-c-b should
probably display

The term bug is a technical term in computing and is not universally
known. There is no tooltip to explain it either. The term is also
inconsistent with the System menu on the gnome panel. The option in this
menu is called Report a Problem,

removing the .trash_entry_cache helped. I have only a single user on the
machine, only local mounts, no NFS, everything is very standard.

bluez anymore as I understand. That's an interesting upgrade problem

OK: I've uploaded bluez_4.9-0ubuntu1~ppa3 to the PPA. This returns the
init script back to bluetooth.
Also: this switches the binary package names back to what we had before
(bluez-utils and bluez-audio). The stuff that was in bluez-gstreamer
and bluez-alsa is now part of bluez-audio. The

been in sync with Debian since about hoary. During Jaunty, we'll try to
get them to adapt our packaging scheme.

For me, brasero consistently fails to copy DVDs. I create these with a
VHS/DVD recorder appliance, and so far the worked everywhere. The target
media is single-layer scratch-proof DVD-R by TDK, which I then try to
copy to DVD+R, using brasero. I think that so far, the

issue with NVIDIA. The bug that is occurring is indeed a bug in their
driver, but requires large changes that won't be happening very soon.

Indeed i'd say this is related to a gstreamer pipeline issue. I killed
pulseaudio so that my VMWare Workstation could use /dev/dsp, and gpm

The gvfs mounting appears to be gone now. Well this is fine, but I
can't find a logical way to delete pictures on my PTP camera in fspot.
The gvfs method was the only way I knew.

The underlying problem is still an issue with the NVIDIA driver's
handling of offscreen windows. An upcoming NVIDIA release will resolve
it. This fix is to partially help so at least people can lock their
screen and suspend/resume and still get the dialog. (Better than
nothing)

driver is released it will likely go into Intrepid, so I'll close the
hardy task on it.
