Hi, Ted:
Judging from the changelog:
http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/vino/ChangeLog?rev=1.133&view=markup
and this bug:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=159874
development might best be described right now as 'very slow' :) You
can find the primary maintainer's email in there by skimming a

I didn't forget it; I was only responding to the linux-2.4 part of the
thread.
GARNOME has been "successfully" built on a number of older systems.
We do make in clear in the README that some features will not work
without a 2.6.x kernel.

the latest version is 00.21 and it is using the new D-Bus A
I'm trying to find out if anyone is actively developing vino at this
point in time. I had a few questions for them on what would be
involved in introducing true RSA key encryption.
Thanks.

Oh great, two definitions of 'sticky' wasn't enough...we just had to
add a third, didn't we? (Or was this already added by "Sticky Notes"
and I just didn't notice since I haven't really used it?)

Hi all,
Since GTK+ 2.10 will have GtkStatusIcon, we'll finally get rid of the
eggtray* code. The only piece left in libegg will be eggtraymanager.
I believe it makes sense to make the code live in the notification area
(instead of just having a copy there) and to "deprecate" eggtray*.

Hi Bastien,
you might want to have a look at gbluezconf also:

thanks,

Trying to keep the dependencies issue out of it for a moment, here are
some more thoughts, assuming that we are talking about replacing Sticky
Notes with Tomboy.
1. Can we rename Tomboy to Sticky Notes, or at least change the tooltip
to "Notes" rather than "Tomboy Notes", so it is more meaninful t

FWIW, this is a proposed SoC project. I have lots of ideas (and other
people also have) that I really should write down somewhere.
