Hi Iban,
new revision r12 of iiimf is working on utf-8 locales only. There is a
gui selection for keyboard layout on your applet by default in Indiana
May Release (iiim-properties).
As not using UTF-8 I can really recommend Laca's suggestion:
/usr/X11/bin/setxkbmap so you can add launchers (or
setxkbmap changes the keyboard map of your X server so
it works in your GNOME desktop too.
You can file a bug about iiim in defect.opensolaris.org.
