login to guest the login sound works there.

Disregard my comment in #3. My report about alert sound not playing when
pressing tab key, in terminal with live CD was wrong. It does play there also.
Comment #3 can be deleted if possible.

Hi, I am smartcard/cryptographic-token user for GnuPG and had this
problem too.
It used to be GNOME configuration tool in GNOME 2 to disable the
interference by GNOM keyrings.
It seems that it has been changed, and now it is possible for users to
disable the interference using 'gnome-session-prop
I was requested to clarify... this issue is fixed on Oneiric for me.

It is, in fact, a fairly minor cosmetic quibble. One that can none-the-less
impact user experience.
It also appears to be very simple to fix. (hell, I could probably fix it

did you get an error during that sessions? the ubuntu-bug file greps for
warnings and showed a gnome-settings-daemon xerror one but the new one
you added which should have details on that doesn't. There are some bugs
known about similar issues when resuming laptops or connecting devices,
