I'm also willing to test. Was there a link to a patch or build? I'm on a
Mac, so it may diversify the test.

Can reproduce this bug in raring?
I tried following steps, but always show ibus indicator and change input
method.
1. Environment is Japanese/ibus-anthy.
2. Enable Advanced/Global input method settings/Share the same input method
among all applications
3. Shutdown
4. PowerOn
5. LogOn
6. Repeat
Old style GPU hang, can only presumed we've fixed it.

I tried running the command you typed and it error-ed out with 'file not
found' so I did sudo -s and ran the command as root; it gave an error
stating x server 0 was already in use then a couple seconds after that
it seems to start to play then errors out with resolution warnings.
