To investigate the problem, I patched my /etc/init.d/umountf
That works on Firefox (GMail Indicators + Messages Count) but not in

Slow dash rendering is a hallmark of software-only rendering. This was
a problem for a brief while in Mir due to permission problems with the
direct rendering interface. Unity can not control how the graphics
stack chooses its acceleration path so I'm marking this as invalid for

Yes, the debug information is only retained after a hang until the
machine is rebooted. It is expected that apport's xdiagnose scripts
would capture it... However, given its absence here, just grab it
manually and attach.
