My laptop has dual ati 5650 and intel. In bios I swith into discrete
graphic (5650). It successfuly installed with fglrx-updates but not with
fglrx. But it seems has many problems, my desktop sometimes appear
glitches like projected bars. And with 13.04, it cannot be installed

While searching for this problem, I found this suggestion:
Edit /etc/pulse/default.pa
find the line that says:
load-module module-udev-detect
and to the end of it add "tsched=0" so the line now looks like:
load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0

numpad, but the process starts to use 100% of one core every time I plug

Still no go. It crashes when I use Xfce, but works okay when I use KDE
(no errors with old or new drivers).
I'm tempted to try to enable desktop effects in Xfce to see whether that
helps:
