I've been trying to find an answer to why the scroll wheel doesn't work
and this is the closest thing to it.
Scrolling with the mouse wheel in Chromium, terminal, LibreOffice works
normally. It jumps more than I'd like, but it scrolls after one notch
(you can feel the notches as you scroll).

I've re-tested again using the existing 12.04 setup (after a full update
a few days ago and LO upgraded to 4.3.0.4 using PPA). The bug is now
disappeared. Sorry that I can't upgrade to 14.04 without careful

computer is painfully slow, will not display properly, delays commands
(i.e. click on something and it can take up to 30 seconds to load),

i have similar issue with Plantronics USB headset. it can be selected as output
in sound settings menu, but it still uses laptop speakers.

Same issue with a btrfs partition, eg. mounted at ~/Videos with mount
options 'subvol=@videos'. If I delete a file it doesn't appear in the
Trash, but is moved to ~/Videos/.Trash-1000. This folder has to be

I received this bug during a recent update and can replicate it by
selecting the 'Using NVIDIA binary driver - version 331.38 from
nvidia-331-updates (proprietary)' under the 'Additional Drivers' tab of
'Software & Updates', and then hitting 'Apply Changes'.

-run a script (external tool) that is marked to save just the current document
