I have a Sony SRS-BTM8 Bluetooth speaker, and its audio side works
fairly well with Ubuntu. It also has a play/pause button and that
doesn't work so well. I think the problem lies in unity-settings-
daemon.
To demonstrate that the Bluetooth side is working, if I switch to a
File|Upload/Download function fails with ftp.

Sorry there is nowhere something like a "Printout Mode tab page" under
administration. I can not even list printers there. It simply does not
work. My only access path is via the "printer" (Drucker) tab page. Can
not find this. I could not even switch the language to "en" as it
ignores DefaultLangu
BTW, the bug is still the same in Ubuntu 14.10. It also affects systems
with i915 video driver (13" Macbook Pro with Intel Iris Graphics).

Hello,
I have no brightness control on imac 27 Core i5-2500S (poduct model:
imac 12.2) running ubuntu trysty with xorg video ati driver.
tried to use fglrx proprietary drivers, and end up with black screen and
unable to boot.
i only needed to low down brightness a little..
This bug is still present in Ubuntu 14.10. K3B burns disks at 8x while
Brasero burns at 1-2x.

to see gimp, synaptic, firefox, nautilus, ANY apps, either from the home

an Utopic kernel for Trusty (the same that was working for Ben).
Please find it in my ppa. The version number is
3.16.0-26.34~14.04.1hf73386v20141127b1.

This is still a problem in Ubuntu 14.10, and the patch does not seem to work in
this version as the synaptic package has changed.
