FYI, a suboptimal but effective workaround in the mean time is to
install and enable the pidgin-libnotify plugin. After doing so, you
can close the buddy window and the chat window(s) stay open; the
downside is that it's still not in the systray, and if you need to get

I have created this report before with showkey and xev logs. So
scancodes are correct, bu xev is wrong. See

But i think i found a working solution. I keep on testing it and will

gparted crashes immediately
As of 17 May Wily update,
xserver was updated
Now, hashing much harder to get rid of by multiple set wallpaper.
How do I tell if the bug fix is in Wily? If so, it doesn't work. If
not, when can I try the fix?
