you can set the resolution and the scaling individually per monitor if

I got the bios upgraded, but the problem has not gone away.
I hope someone would look into this problem. The machine is usable, but I

access any display output except default, as described in the the original bug

Think you're nailing it. The output references the snap I was attempting
to create one evening, before I abandoned the experiment and deleted it
(as referenced above). It was called "nominal-roll-generator".
