I just logged out of my primary desktop (dell [optiplex] 960 (c2q-q9400,
8gb, amd/ati cedar radeon hd 5000/6000/7350/8350) of my LXQt desktop
changed to login via GNOME/Ubuntu
On the installed & updated GNOME 19.10 system i get the same action when
I right-click the background. If I move pointer

and wonder if you have a faulty power supply (thus possibly your disk
issues, plus the video flickering issues), and suggest you check that

auto-magically fixed by an update.

Running under wayland, with fractional scaling enabled and set to 175%
on laptop screen, 100% on external screen, sometimes windows like
nautilus or the file chooser get pixelated fonts (see screenshot). Seen

I can confirm this exact same behavior. It occurred on my H600, in both
Ubuntu 18.10 and 19.04. Makes for very strange volume effects,
especially to those who don't know to investigate with pavucontrol and
alsamixer.

Was this ever resolved? This same thing is happening to me regularly.
I'm about to give up on Ubuntu; I can't believe something so basic is

the upload of v1.24 is causing any consumer of python based libpeas
applets to not work
e.g. gedit, rhythmbox - and for myself - budgie-desktop.

I went back pretty far, into the 4.x versions, and still had the same
