I can only reproduce this bug in LibreOffice Calc (spreadsheet). I
cannot reproduce it in Writer or Geary.
But it is a consistent problem for me in Calc.

[ Test case ]
- Start an application (i.e. firefox)
- Stop the process
- killall -STOP firefox
+ killall -STOP firefox
+ - Close the window via the shell (using launcher

gnome-shell infinite error loop when closing
This bug appeared on up to date ubuntu xenial just now, bugs just don't
disappear themselves therefor i don't get the reasoning behind no new
report added so it must be solved logic. People don't report new ones
for to known bug because it is already reported, so it is not surprising
that most

The issue persisted on my last computer, which would have a completely
different user, and I was not using GNOME Extensions at that point.

I have installed gnome-shell{,-common}
3.34.1+git20191024-1ubuntu1~19.10.1 from eoan-proposed and verified that
the "opening activities" delay goes down from ~4 seconds in
3.34.1-1ubuntu1 to <1 second in
