I unpacked the snap from the dev channel, remove the DISABLE_WAYLAND
definition, added the wayland plug, but the application still fails to

This could very well be an issue with the amdgpu kernel module or the
kernel itself. 20.04 uses kernel 5.4 I fixed my situation (similar) by
upgrading to 20.10 (beta) which uses 5.8 packages. Now, my power
management and suspend/resume actually work.

I have not (yet) experienced the issue you are describing, or any issues
for that matter. Maybe you can remove and re-insert i2c_hid when this
happens? Hopefully a fix of the GPIO driver is not too far off and will

In libreoffice 6.4.6-0ubuntu0.20.04.1, when the libreoffice-dev package is
installed, we have /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/{gengal, gengal.bin}. However
for any 7.x version of libreoffice, these gengal files are missing.

I had a version of this bug.
- starting from 18.04 LTS, with all package updates
- software-updater didn't offer 20.04 (surprised me this many months
after 20.04 was released)

This happens to me around once per week. The first line I found in
syslog is:
