When I changed gnome shell to Yaru the keyboard is ok (enclosed).
So the problem was caused by specific gnome shell "Chrome-OS". It moves
onscreen keyboard some pixels down. It is easy to workaround this using
"Improvedosk" extension setting landscape height some px up.

I had created a bootable pendrive with 20.04 version of Ubuntu. I installed
this and then updated system, using regular system update tool.
So I am now on 20.04.3 version. I did not install any additional keyboards or
packages so I have no idea what kind of keyboard it

Following instructions provided by @cjjefcoat, I managed to get kernel -116
running.
It turns out that just removing the "ppa:ubuntu-toolchain-r/test" ppa and
reinstalling the gcc-4.8 wasn't sufficient to get it downgraded to "gcc (Ubuntu
4.8.4-2ubuntu1~14.04.4) 4.8.4". Anyway, *purging* the ppa
I can use my Ubuntu 14.04.05 with kernel 4.4.0-112-generic normally, but
when it comes to booting with 4.4.0-116-generic Nvidia drivers don't

In Trusty when I shade a window (Ctrl+Alt+S) it is minimised automatically

Stefan, I had Seamonkey 2.21 before I upgrade and there was exactly the same
error. It is why I upgraded to Seamonkey 2.22.1.

Uh, sorry. By "prevent Firefox" I mean "prevent the browser". Neither
does Firefox, which I use now instead, work slowly nor crash with
dom.ipc.plugins.enabled set to true on Ubuntu 12.04. :)

Confirming this bug. Indeed setting it to "true" (in my case it was
"dom.ipc.plugins.enabled" that was set to false) helps, but I had to set
it to "false" to prevent Firefox from working really slowly when there
was a Flash video when I was using GNU IceCat (a rebrand of Firefox) on
Ubuntu 11.10.
How about fixing this also in Oneiric?

problem. Please fix this bug. I finally want to ditch Filezilla for a
neat in-build solution: Nautilus. Can't we elevate this? I know some
people who moved away from Ubuntu because of this bug.
