from the device connected in MTP mode to local hard drive. However, I

I suggest that the current lxlock script should be replaced by this:

Except that closing Firefox did not work: UI was gone, but firefox
process kept running in background. Killing by signal 1 closed firefox
finally. After restart (with same tabs) CPU usage is much lower, at

Xfce/LXDE. A Firefox thread runs 195% and a couple threads run about

The script will fail, if gnome-screensaver is running and xscreensaver
is not running, when you run lxlock. Running

If lightdm is installed, then lxlock will use dm-tool for screen
locking. dm-tool is part of lightdm. It seems to be the same if you use
"dm-tool switch-to-greeter" or "dm-tool lock". Aren't these supposed to
lock user's session? I do not see the point why you would have to use
another lock utilit
So far 5 people have told the bug affects them. As for the article
mentioned in #9, it is incorrect: you can not bypass password prompt by
Ctrl + Alt +7, but by Ctrl + Alt + F7.

ubuntu 11.04 is no longer supported. If sound runs so poorly on Windows,
I suppose you have some fault in your audio hardware.

By the way as far as I know, lubuntu comes without pulseaudio, so might be good

Printing still works, which is good, but I can't do anything to the red error

I just found out that the there is a mixer called "Auto-Mute Mode". If
that is set to disabled, Speaker control works, even if a plug is
inserted in the headphone jack. If "Auto-Mute Mode" is enabled, and a
plug is inserted, it mutes the speaker by other means than by muting the
Speaker channel in
