The workaround that I found is using the nautilus-actions package. It
makes it possible to define actions to take for files that match a

matches a predefined criteria, the specified action will appear under a

I don't understand this bug or why it happened, but I don't experience
it anymore. Of course, I'm running ubuntu 12.04 so I don't know if it
is still present in later versions. I don't know what status to close
it under so maybe you could?

I'm not a nautilus developer, however I reopened the bug because I think it has
been closed in error. If I've reopened it in error, I think the developers
will close it again. Here's the link to the comment I wrote while re-opening:

Actually, just having checked, as of today, the cards are now displayed

Pages with unresponsive scripts cause extremely long hangs

Public bug reported:
This bug makes firefox practically unusable for me. It seems I run into
a lot of pages with "unresponsive scripts" (I guess that's what it is).
They make firefox hang for a long time before it continues. If a menu
is up, the hanging causes the entire system to be unusable.
This should probably be better explained: I have to sound cards: an
intel internal one and an Advanced Logic (AL) one attached to the PCI
bus. Normally, the internal one is recognized first and then the AL one

I should have said in the initial report that this bug makes selecting
multiple items with the cursor keys (and the space and CTRL keys)
practically impossible when the final item in the window is reached
because the items that scroll up are never readable at the bottom of the
window.

Hi. This is a usability bug. The tooltip that comes up saying which
items have been selected in a nautilus window obscures the last item
making unreadable and difficult to select because it becomes unreadable.
The two screenshots that will be attached show the problem.
