Ok regarding my env:
$ gnome-extensions list --enabled
$ gsettings get org.gnome.shell enabled-extensions
@as []
I did not removed gnome-shell-extensions because this will break the
gnome-core installed.
It crashed again this morning:

Currently I didn't got any working smbspool command line after many tries.
It shows DEBUG: Connected with username/password... and then it waits.
Is cups switching to another backend (may be smbclient) when the
smbspool one does not

as a working one for CUPS (is the bug there?) is:
