Same here. Ubuntu 12.04 x86_32 with kernel 3.2.0-35.
On Ubuntu 12.04 x86_64 with kernel 3.7.0-030700 it is no problem.

Sorry to hear that it did not work for you. I would file another bug if I were
you.
That is the only way to have experts look at the perticular problem and solve
it before Precise hits the marked.
