Same issue as #17, when I connect my headphone with combo jack (works
great with other devices) to laptop with ubuntu 16.04.
In PulseAudio volume control gui, in 'Input devices' tab, it shows that
internal microphone is 'unplugged' and microphone (external, from combo
headset) is 'plugged in'.
I tried this so as to be ready for the next problem, but install does
not like the armhf bit - wants amd64.

The laptop is doing a hybrid sleep: writing to disk and then sleeping to
RAM. It does not happen when I revert to the default suspend-only mode.
Also, I notice this happens only when my RAM utilisation is high. I

I installed nvidia-prime to try it, but later decided to stick to
bumblebee. I removed (apt-get remove nvidia-prime). On the next reboot,
lightdm failed to start: I was dropped to a blank screen with no error
messages.
On investigating, I found this line in lightdm.log:
I understand, and that is eventually what worked for me. Even so, IMHO
there should have been a warning on remove, explicitly saying that not
purging will make things go bad.

ubuntu-bug, I get this KDE crash dialogue box (screenshot attached).

Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the
KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. But don't worry! This
issue is being tracked by the KDE developers at:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=289920. Once fixed in KDE, it will
be included in Kubuntu

This could be a linux kernel or a pm-utils bug. However, from the last
few updates, at least from Linux ubuntu 3.13.0-8-generic, suspend is
taking a very long time. It takes over 20mins. The suspend indicator
keeps blinking.
