Public bug reported: makes screen full of colored lines, black lines, screen starts middle, goes out to right and starts back at left. everything responds very slowly. I'm using Ubuntu 15.10 fresh install. fglrx-updates 15.201-0ubuntu2~15.10.2 0 expected working driver, got messed up screen.
