GNOME Shell under Wayland, and multiple monitors - opening Chrome will
frequently crash my whole GNOME session. I could also reliably reproduce

I've been using 22.04 (fresh install) since June and today after a
routine update this "bug" popped up. This is in a system that has a
yubikey 4 permanently plugged in. It's weird that the bug just popped
out of nowhere.
The last workaround from wastrel worked great for me.

Thanks Felix Moreno for the "crappy" solution to get around the problem.
It seems to work fine. I didn't see the solution offered in any any

I have the same issue and I have tried to add info about my system,
following the instructions in help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs to
gather information about my system and the firefox package. This did not
work as it should. I then did:

Removed a total of three ibus packages.
Logged out and in, still US keyboard.
Did an edit of keyboard layout and closed Settings panel. Re-opened Settings
panel, edit keyboard layout back to UK with win keys. Log out log in and have a
UK keyboard

I can confirm this bug on Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS. Like Jakob said after the
crash the trash can't be accessed any more. What works for me though is
manually deleting ~/.local/share/Trash/files and
~/.local/share/Trash/info.
