Good! So I'm going to mark this bug invalid, as the problem was caused
by fiddling with the chrome CSS in a way that was apparently not
forward-compatible.

ah, after a little more digging, it seems that following these
instructions: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/howto-enable-tab-switching-in-
firefox-using-mouse-wheel/39954 for mouse wheel based tab switching is
the cause of the problem.

Agreed. However, unless we find a way to reproduce the problem that
leads to such a corrupted profile, there's not much we can do about it…
I'm going to leave the bug in this status so it will auto-expire in ~60

there is no + button in the tab bar (actually the tab bar doesn't even show
the current tab). Ctrl + T does nothing, control + click on link does
