Not a lot, in fact nothing while the attempt to download was made,
twice. Attached is the journalctl from the point at which the snap
version of Firefox was launched

The Firefox 99.01 64 bit snap in Ubuntu 22.04 downloads only work for the
Downloads directory. All other directories are either unavailable (Save button
greyed out), or if by clicking on the path a few times, the Save button becomes
available, the save fails, saying you don't have permission...

I can confirm that this is not just related to firefox and snap. After
adding the Brave browser, I am unable to be prompted to save downloaded
files. The prompt does not appear. I have heard that this is also
apparent in Chrome.
