The problem is solved in the master branch on gnome repository[1].
This bug is solved along with gnome bugzilla bug[2].
The fix [3] will be part of next major release of gcalctool.

Hi PioneerAxon - did you mean to set that to fix committed on gcalctool
(Ubuntu)? I don't
think it should be set as such unless that version of the package is in the
ubuntu repos
(I've not checked to see if it is )

OK, I'll put it to triaged; the gcalctool(Ubuntu) should only go to Fix
committed once someone can confirm the upstream code has made it into
the ubuntu package.

Dave, The bug is fixed in Gnome repository only. It will be part of next major
release of gcalctool.
The fix is not committed on gcalctool (Ubuntu), as far as I know.

Bugs should be set to fix committed when the fix has been committed
somewhere. Triaged means it hasn't been worked on. In this case the bug
is solved, but it is not in Ubuntu (it will be set to fix released when
that occurs).
