App icons shrink or disappear after closing an app folder

Absolutely, I've attached a txt file with the contents of `journalctl -b
0`. For the record, my actions for these logs were:
1. Boot
2. Sign in
3. Launch Firefox and navigate to my Nextcloud instance
4. Generate an app specific password (I use two-factor)
5. Add the Nextcloud account in the
Weird. The XorgLog shows that HDMI is talking to the wrong driver so I
assumed that meant it is plugged into the wrong GPU...
Does your computer not have multiple HDMI ports? If not then it looks
like there's a problem with how the Nvidia driver is installed here.

By default, gedit has "Highlight current line" option enabled. While
that works great for Yaru and Adwaita, this is barely usable with Yaru-
dark, because both background and foreground are just different shades
of white.

Nvidia user here, nope, it happens also with Xorg. And like in #8 I also
see/don't see them randomly. For example, right now they are visible.

I neglected to mention that my setup also has a laptop connected to an
external screen (with very different resolutions). I don't think I've
reproduced this with the screen detached, so maybe this is a clue to the
