rebase it to the latest main at earliest convenience.
We had a little drama today where PRs and main started to fail out of the
sudden and I tracked it down to this fix:

in the previous description we jumped straight to "labels" but
I believe (and that might be a good point to discuss with the current
triagers and committers) that labeling of priorities/etc. should be
somewhat "last" point of the triaging. We rarely (if at all) look at
those labels and IMHO there

Thank you both for your inputs.
Following your advice Jarek, I opened PR #27420. To get my hands dirty I also
implemented option 2 and opened PR #27419.
I’ll be sure to go to the Slack channel for any new discussions Jed, and in the
meantime, I’ll follow up on the PRs
