It is sometimes hard to distinguish if it is a library or an application.
Take operator as an example, a non-tech people may think it as a well-built
application while an engineer may consider it as a library and extends
functionalities on it.

Do not set to datetime.now(). You could set to 2019-04-18 and it will start
scheduling at 2019-04-18 2 AM.

Is it possible to re-implement it in the view-level, not in operator level?
And this operator is just define a different view in GUI, that these tasks
will be collapsed into another view.

IMHO, it's worth to have such dynamic hooks adding ability. I met issues
before that the current hook cannot satisfy the needs. I have to write my
own hook and hacked Connections. If hook is not coupled tightly with
Connections, it will be easier by switching to another python package.

AIP-8 is intended to achieve this by separate operators/hooks to individual

Hi,
I recently work on improving the Airflow documentations. I am not a tech
writer, but would like to contribute to the existing documentations. Thus,
if possible, I am willing to join the program, learn and practice more.
See a list of jira issues related to documentation.
