Hi Calcite and Drill devs
Here's an idea that, while it doesn't equate to the upstreaming of Drill
tests to the Calcite test suite, could mean that all of Drill's tests
would automatically and frequently be run with the HEAD of the Calcite
main branch.
Something Drill started doing last
Hi
In the context of this RC, may I ask for comment on CALCITE-5575[1]? I'm
not well enough informed to decide if it is actually a Calcite bug (even
a regression?) but I have the sense that it could be. I've been working
on accommodating Calcite's recently added DATE_DIFF function definition

this kind of problem in
future is for projects like Drill to upstream tests.

Much appreciated. I only have so much know-how in this area but

Hi
All of Drill's DATE_TRUNC unit tests pass when Drill uses
calcite-1.34.0-SNAPSHOT (and once we accommodate the new QUALIFY
clause). While we do now have an unrelated issue
-5469, I'm quite sure that we can resolve
this in Drill.
In summary I'm a +1 for this Calcite snapshot becoming an RC.
Thanks

Hi Calcite devs!
There are resource leaks affecting some Calcite adapters, including ES

creates clients objects from external libraries in order to access the

Excuse me freeloading on this thread but another PR that originated from
