issue. Java7 is OK. The FileComponentConfigurationAndDocumentation failure
is universal.

xtend the ranges for the imports for the stuff that CAN
use 3.2.x to be "[3.2,5)”. I’d need to verify the components that use spring
to see if they can still work with 3.x but there aren’t that many of them.

THAT said, I would be OK with going through all the code, removing all the
stuff marked deprecated, update to JDK8, and call it 3.0. :-) It’s just a

Also note that we already did the same thing with Camel, twice. We supported
Java 6 up to 2.14.0. We dropped support for Java 6 and went Java7+ in 2.15.
Camel 2.6 supported Java5, but we dropped that in Camel 2.7 and went Java6+.

It sometimes makes back merging fixes to 2.16/2.15 tricky if you use Java8

I went ahead and pushed this (can always revert if needed) along with all the
