Ah.. I see. I had a .roles file first, but then decided to put it back to
cocoon.xconf.

Hmpf. Do i necessary need a roles file? Cause if I change the attribute to
class in cocoon.xconf as you said, I get this when the component is looked

No, you don't need a roles file if you specify a role attribute in
cocoon.xconf.
