Hi Ashraf,
I can access your database on that URL. Maybe you having Internet connectivity
issues?
Also, your e-mail was sent to the developers mailing list of CouchDB. For
non-developer questions like yours, I suggest you ask them on the "User Mailing
List" found here: https://couchdb.apache.o
Hi again everyone,
I am happy to get a discussion going about this. I'd say Debian is a major
platform for servers. Therefor, I believe CouchDB should exist there - with a
reasonable modern version. Sure, you can install from source. However, with
CouchDB and it's replication features it should
Hi,
I saw that you are the maintainer of the Debian CouchDB package. Currently, the
CouchDB package is lagging behind quite a lot (there is a major leap in version
number between stable (0.11) and testing (1.1.1)). Is there any way/possibility
to create a backport package of CouchDB to make a m
Hi,
The frontpage of CouchDB website[1] still mentions Subversion, bit as far I'm
concerned you've moved to GIT, right?

Hi,
Should questions concerning Debian packaging of CouchDB be brought up here, or
would you rather have me contact the maintainer (g...@debian.hu) directly?

Hi,
Will the material for these/this course(s) be available online, too?
Curious,

Hi Andrey,
If you would like to know more about how OTP (gen_servers etc.) work I can
recommend "Erlang and OTP in Action". It gives you a very good introduction to
not just the language Erlang, but also OTP and design philosophies of Erlang.

Hi,
Does JS engine come bundled with HTTP request implementation or is that browser
specific? If they do, you could execute the browser tests by running them
through a JavaScript engine directly? That way you can preserve the JavaScript
code, still run the tests and skip your favorite browser.
Hi again,
I just wanted to inform you that a new Debian package was uploaded to stable a
couple of weeks ago[1]. Good to see things are rolling again!

Are there any (open source, preferably) systems on the web that support this?
I've seen'em around but only for proprietary systems, I think.
Late reply here. Great to hear there might be some progress. If CouchDB wants
to profile itself for fault tolerance/scalable it should be easy to deploy on
multiple servers. A deb package makes that a breeze. Basho's riak has succeeded
very well in that matter.
That said, I would love to help o
Hi,
I have posted a similar question on the user mailing list but did not get any
sufficient answer.
I have noticed that there is very little activity on Debian packaging of Apache
CouchDB. The latest version of is 0.11.0 for both Debian stable, unstable and
testing. Can I consider this still
