talking about some of the cool new stuff.

But I don't want to incorporate those (other than to mention them) if
others are planning to cover them in

They mention mainframe data.
Maybe we can get someone (like from Google) to implement the P and V number
format characters, so that we have complete mainframe number support? I
think that's the last real COBOL-ish feature pending.
