FYI: the different hash algorithms in CycloneDX SBOM is due to Azul JDK 8 vs
other JDK 8 distributions
Azul backported to JDK 8 newer hash algorithms from JDK 11, and
cyclonedx-maven-plugin uses by default every hash algorithm available on the JVM
for the record, checking binaries during a vote

The problem I had was due to the presence of the slapd.properties file.
Once removed, all the tests were ok.

For some reason, I *may* have used Java 11 to build the release, and it
may have generated a package that is not compatible with Java 8 (not
sure yet).

Yes. The upgrade to latest Wicket v9 requires the jump to java 11.
The others still happily
packages, checked fortress against ApacheDS, all was
