I'm not proposing that we put any checks or hard stops in the server to prevent starting on Java SE 5, but I would like to remove JAXB/JAXWS 2.1 as it comes in Java SE 6 and use the wsgen in the JDKs instead of shipping some CXF code for Axis2 users. Free Java SE 5 support/updates end next yea

Once we move everything to GShell, the geronimo.* scripts can be deleted. Until then, allowing Unix/Linux/Mac users to install Geronimo into paths with spaces outweighs the requirement for a very few if any users who want to remove the jpa.jar to have to edit the script. We could put more cod

Hi Jan, I rewrote the standard auth methods as ServerAuthentication classes on the plane ride home. I implemented Lazy and Caching (in session and SSO) as wrappers. Seems to compile but I haven't tried the tck yet. I'm not sure if I've put in all the necessary stuff e.g. timeouts?? but
