I suggest we stop using ${project.version} in 3.0's pom.
This maven variable will magicly change when I create a new sub-project

To allow the Geronimo trunk release to upgrade the some of the
components used by the server, I'd like
release new versions of some of the Geronimo bundle components. This
components are versions of external
Geronimo dependencies that have been converted into OSGi jars.

Hi, Kevan:
Here is the error log, now i am trying to revert local open 3.1.* to
previous revisions one by one after July 7, and then build openejb ,
geronimo 2.2.2 to check which revision results in this error. If you can

As ServiceMix, Aries, Felix, Karaf (and probably other Apache project that I
don't know) uses bundles, this seems more logic that we create something
related to osgi stuffs under Apache umbrella (for all the bundles where
Apache license is applicable)
So, why not creating something like --> Apache
Hi Guillaume,
I think a shared repository for OSGi bundles at Apache would be great; far
better to have one well-known place with lots of activity around it rather than
have multiple repositories each being only partly maintained in an ad-hoc
manner.
Rather than have this as a sub-project of

Hmmm. You're right - this might be tricky territory; particularly as Charles
mentioned concerning bundling of non-Apache-Licensed bundles. The common-ground
project would need create/distribute bundles under a selection of licenses.
Still, there's got to be a way!
Perhaps the best home for this
I fully agree. A single point for bundles is really a great idea.
Maybe we should try to get a svn repo folder just for that and allow
all asf committers access there.

Yeah, I wasn't suggesting a subproject of SMX or Geronimo. I think
there are other projects like Ace, Sling, Aries that could contribute
to that too. So definitely a common ground would be a good idea.
I'm not sure if the board would approve a project solely for releasing
third party libraries th
