Being one of the dissenters I think your approach is fine. Please take into consideration that
there may be competing implementations so the name hopefully will provide a clue as to what the
plugin does.

Update: injection of GBean references into the job works too. So it's
only EJB references that are problematic for these purposes in 1.1.
