Agree with your comments around support and maintenance of previous
versions of Guacamole. There seems little point to me in backporting
and, as you say, it would create quite a lot more work - most likely to
the detriment of future improvements and features.

I don't have a lot to comment on; I should think RemoteFX a worthy

Good morning all,
Not sure I can contribute anything much on the two systems Mike's
mentioned, but I've some related comments, for what they're worth:
In general I've found the present documentation to be clearly written
and formatted well, albeit (as with all documentation) it takes a little

Should anything arise I'll let you know, it does seem to me something
that many would benefit from. I remain ever hopeful there will be a way
forward sooner or later...
Cheers, Luke.

Nick,
I see Mark's valuable contribution, mine is probably *much* less so
because I struggle to avoid the ogre in the room that you want to ignore

The short answer is yes. However YMMV if you want to use it with Windows

I have it working for a client with Win7, but it took a few tweaks to
make it work (mostly around caching), others appear to be struggling.

The Guacamole project itself does not have any particular methodology
for this, it is more of a system development question.
There are several ways one could go about it, as such it is in the hands
of the system integrator to choose something that suits their
environment and needs.
